Archos Ships New Digital Audio Player

Irvine-based Archos (www.archos.com) has added another digital audio player to its lineup. According to the company, its new Gmini XS200 provides 20GB of digital audio in a very small package (2.9 inches x 2.3 inches x .7 inches), enough for 5000 digitally encoded music files. The new player supports MP3, WMA, and WAV music files, and is expected to be available at major retailers by the end of October. Archos develops and markets a line of pocket audio/video products, including music players, video players, and more.
