Bizzy Launches iPhone App

Bizzy, the personalized, local recommendations site owned by Woodland Hills-basedReachLocal, told its users Friday that it has launched a new iPhone application for the service. The service--which recommends restaurants, shops, and entertainment to users based on the profiles and preferences of other users--said the new app is free. Bizzy said it is also developing an Android application, but did not say when it expects to release it. ReachLocal relaunched Bizzy in November, turning from a local business profile site into a more interactive, social recommandations site.
