    Boingo Enters Malaysia


    Santa Monica-based Wi-Fi provider Boingo Wireless has entered the Malaysian market, the firm said Tuesday. Boingo said that it has signed a roaming agreement with Maxis, a wireless telecommunications company that serves Malaysia. Maxis maintains 118 hot spots in Malaysia serving business customers, including the Kuala Lumpur airport. Boingo said that the addition of Malaysia brings it total number of hot spots to 45,581 worldwide.
