Breach Takes $6M
Carlsbad-based security software provider Breach Security has raised $6M in a funding round, from Enterprise Partners, RBA No. 5, and Evergreen Venture Partners, the firm told socalTECH today. The funding round brings the total raised by the firm to $32.5M. Funding will go towards growth of the business, and to "capitalize on the market opportunity" for web application security solutions, the firm said. Breach Security is a developer of web application security software and security appliances. The firm said it now has 65 employees. Breach was founded in 2004.
