Woodland Hills-based CrowdGather, which operates an online network of discussions groups and forums, said today that it is in a definitive agreement to buy the technical assets of Lefora, a firm which operates online user forums. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Crowdgather said the all-stock transaction also includes the hiring of key employees of Lefora. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Crowdgather said the acquisition it its third major buy this year. Prior acquisition include ad agency ADISN and community forums firm FreeForums.org. Lefora was based in San Francisco, and was founded in 2008.
