Santa Monica-based Demand Media, the online media firm run by Richard Rosenblatt, disclosed today that the firm has signed on auto manufacturer Toyota as a customer. Demand Media said it has partnered with Toyota and ad agency Saatchi & Saatchi LA, to provide content to a new interactive community site aimed at off road aficianados, TrailTracker. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Demand said the new site will allow off-roaders to find and share their favorite trails, and will include a user-generated database of off-road and dirt road trails, point-by-point trail overviews, and GPS integration.
