DivX Signs Patent Deal With VIZIO

San Diego-based DivX, which holds a number of digital video patents, said on Monday that VIZIO has licensed its patent portfolio. Financial details of the deal were not announced. According to DivX, the agreement "resolves all patent litigation matters between the parties, including the pending U.S. International Trade Commission investigation against VIZIO." DivX -- pivoted a number of years ago from running a video sharing site to patent licensing.
