dMarc Broadcasting Gets Win
Newport Beach-based dMarc Broadcasting, the firm which is being acquired by Google for over $1B, reported today that it has scored a win with Emmis Communications for its automated advertising solution. Emmis will tap dMarc's RevenueSuite software to automatically insert paid commercials into open and unsold slots. Emmis operates Power 106 in Los Angeles, a hip-hop radio station, along with 26 other stations. Emmis said that it is using the dMarc system at its two Los Angeles stations and plans to use the system in the rest of its stations. dMarc signed a deal earlier this month that calls for Google to pay $102M in cash plus up to $1.13B in contingent payments for the firm.
