    Emulex Gets Win At 3Leaf


    Costa Mesa-based storage area networking equipment provider Emulex has scored a win with 3Leaf Sytsems, a startup in the server virtualization space. 3Leaf said today that it is working with Emulex to use its Host Bus Adapters (HBAs) in 3Leaf's products. Terms of the design win were not announced, however 3Leaf said that it will use the Emulex hardware to provide connections to storage networks. 3Leaf is developing server virtualization products targeted at enterprise data centers, and is venture backed by Alloy Ventures, Enterprise Partners, Intel Capital, and Storm Ventures.
