En Pointe Buys BPO Firm
Los Angeles-based En Pointe Technologies said this morning that it is acquiring a majority interest in two Pakistani companies whic provide it with business processing outsourcing. En pointe said that it will acquire 70% of the stock of Ovex Technologies Ltd., and Ovex Pakistan Limited, two related companies. Both firms, headquartered in Lahore, Pakistan, provide back office operational and financial accounting services for En Pointe. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The companies employ more than 700 in Pakistan. En Pointe is a provider of hardware, software, and information security, and managed services for government agencies and enterprise customers.
