ESET Ships Antivirus Software For Smartphones
San Diego-based ESET, a developer of antivirus software, has set its sight on the mobile market, and has begun shipping a new software product aimed at smart phone users. According to ESET, it has begun shipping a new software product to protect against malware and SMS threats for Windows Mobile devices, ESET Mobile Antivirus. ESET said the new software provides both malware scanning and spam protection for SMS messaging. The new software is available for Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6 variants.
