    Eventful Plugs Into Microsoft Windows Live
    San Diego-based Eventful has inked a deal with Microsoft, saying Thursday that it has developed a new event search plugin for Microsoft's Windows Live Writer blogging software. The plugin lets bloggers search Eventful's index of events and embed those events into their blogs. Microsoft's Windows Live Writer software is an authoring tool for people to create their own blog posts. Microsoft provides an open application programming interface (API) that allows anyone to create their own Windows Live Writer plugins. Eventful is one of the many event aggregation sites and services for allowing users to post and find local events.
