Fliptu Becomes Ampsy, Signs Up Darius Rucker As A Customer
Los Angeles-based social aggregation tool developer Fliptu said today that it has rebranded the company as Ampsy, and also integrated its software with Hootsuite. The reasoning behind the rebranding was not given. As part of the announcement, Ampsy said that its product has been being used by musical artist Darius Rucker, who has been using Ampsy's product with Hootsuite during his performances. Ampsy said that Rucker has been using Ampsy to find "super fans", and giving those influencers shout outs, special offers, and more, and also to help enhance the buzz from Rucker's concerts; the company said the result was social engagement that went out three to five days longer than usual after those concerts.
