Los Angeles-based Fonality, a provider of IP-based PBX systems, said earlier this week that it has expanded its channel in Europe. The firm said that it has signed solution providers in France, Poland, Italy, and the UK to resell and support its trixbox Pro phone system. The providers include CNSI (France), Halo2 (Poland), V4VoIP (UK), VCOMM (UK), VoIPon (UK), and Wildix (Italy). Fonality develops a PBX replacement product which uses low cost, PC platforms to replace expensive PBX hardware; the firm's software is based on the open source Asterisk PBX software.
