Genomatica Gets SBIR Grant
San Diego-based Genomatica said today that it has received a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The two year award, for $750,000, will be used to upgrade the company's software for genomics research. Genomatica's software is an application enables the development of predictive computer models of organisms, which the company is targeting for rapid biological discovery.
