Gently Partners With DeliverZero On Zero-Waste Takeout Containers

Santa Monica-based last-mile delivery provider Gently says it has partnered with New York-based DeliverZero, to adopt DeliverZero's reusable takout packaging system. The system uses reusable food containers, which people can use and then return to participating restaurants, which can dramatically cut paper and plastic usage. Financial details of the partnership were not announced. The company said it will deploy those returnable restaurant takeout containers in the Los Angeles area.
