Girls Who Code Plans Two New LA Programs

Girls Who Code, the group which aims at helping girls learn coding and software skills, said it is launching two new programs in Los Angeles next summer, centered around two local university campuses. According to Girls Who Code, it will launch a program at Loyola Marymount University and another at Scripps College, which will help middle and high school girls with such topics as Website Design and Development to Wearable Tech & Fashion Design and iPhone App Development. The two programs are part of a larger expansion of efforts at Girls Who Code through its summer Campus program. Girls Who Code says it plans to offer those new programs to over 1,000 girls in middle school and high school across the US with the new Campus program.
