Honda Launches Robotic Riding Mower

Honda, which has its U.S. headquarters in Torrance, says it is rolling out an autonomous, riding mower--targeted at the lawn care and landscape maintenance industry--which automatically replicates the mowing path set by an operator, to offload mowing tasks from humans. According to Honda, the electric, zero-turn riding mower is aimed at helping to "improve the efficiency of lawn care and landscape maintenance". The company says it is in the mist of field testing it as a concept, and will run a pilot program starting in 2024 for further advancing the robot mower.
