Los Angeles-based video streaming site Hulu is set to earn half a billion dollars in revenue this year, according to an update from CEO Jason Kilar posted last night on its company blog. According to Kilar, it did $263M in revenues for all of 2010, with a growth in revenues of approximately 90 percent in Q1 of this year.Among other updates, Kilar said that the firm is on track to have over 1 million Hulu Plus subscribers by the end of the year. The revenue growth was driven by the addition of new advertisers on the video site--the firm said it had 289 advertisers in Q1 this year, up from 194 in Q1 of 2010.
