Internet Brands Buys Five More Websites
Los Angeles-based Internet Brands announced this morning that it has purchased five web sites in the leisure area. According to Internet Brands, it has acquired FitDay.com, an online site focused on fitness and calorie counting; HighDefForums.com, a site focused on next generation HDTV formats; HighDefDigest.com, which reviews Blu-ray and HD-DVD titles; AVRev.com, a home theater site, and VetInfo.com, focused on providing information about pet health. Financial terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed. Internet Brands now owns more than 55 web sites around a variety of consumer verticals.
