L'Attitude Ventures Raises $100M Fund

San Diego-based L'Attitude Ventures announced this week that it has raised $100M in funding from JPMorgan Chase and other limited partners, to "solely invest in Latina(o)-owned" seed to Series A companies. The fund is the firm's very first institutional fund. The Managing Partners and co-founders of the fund are Sol Trujillo (former CEO of Telstra, Orange SA, and US West), Gary Acosta (CEO of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals); and Kennie Blanco (BlackRock). Other partners at the firm include Oscar Munoz, the former chairman and CEO of United Airlines. The venture firm says it will invest in early-stage businesses led by Latinos in the US through $200k to $2M investments.
