    Mahalo Opens Wikipedia-style Editing

Santa Monica-based Mahalo, the high profile, guided search startup headed by former Weblogs founder Jason Calacanis, said Wednesday afternoon that it has launched the ability to let anyone edit any page on Mahalo, even without logging into the site. Calacanis described the new feature on his blog as "Wikipedia with paid Fact Checkers." The new features also include the ability for anyone to create a new page, much like Wikipedia allows users to create pages on any topic. Mahalo provides a human-powered, search engine, and is venture backed by Sequoia Capital, Elon Musk, News Corp, CBS Corporation, and Burda Media.
