Norman AS, a developer of malware analysis and security software, said today that it has opened up a new, U.S. corporate headquarters in San Diego. Norman said the new office will house sales, marketing, product management, and R&D personnel, and comes in addition to a current location in Fairfax, Virginia. Norman did not say how many people it plans to hire at the new location, but cited the area's business climate and business development in choosing San Diego. The firm said Einar Oftedal, its Vice President Emerging Technologies and Innovations is moving to San Diego to head up the new office. Norman's global headquarters are in Norway.
