MegaPath Launches Threat Management Service
Costa Mesa-based MegaPath, a provider of virtual private networks and managed IP services, is targeting the security space with a new managed security service. MegaPath said that it has launched a new service it calls SecureConnect to help businesses safeguard their information assets. The new service provides attack mitigation, firewall, IDS, and other security services. The company disclosed that Jamba Juice was one of the customers using the company's new security services. MegaPath is backed by Boston Millenia Partners, Columbia Capital, USVP, and other firms, and is the combination of Netifice Communications and Megapath Networks.
