Musk Makes $43 Billion Offer To Take Twitter Private

Elon Musk has made a bid to take Twitter private in a deal worth approximately $43 billion, according to a SEC filing from Musk this morning. In the filing, Musk offered to pay $54.20 per share for 100 percent ownership of Twitter. Musk announced the move on Twitter, saying "I made an offer." Musk is also CEO of Hawthorne-based SpaceX.
