Irvine-based I/OMagic has introduced a new line of headphones targeted at the personal computer market. The new headphones in its line provide surround sound, power amplifiers, eight independent speakers, and bass "rumble" effects.

Mindspeed Adds Combo Telecom/Datacom ICs
Newport Beach-based Mindspeed Technologies (www.mindspeed.com) has announced a new family of solutions designed to support datacom and telecom applications. The company's new "line card on a chip" solutions combines a number of components used for ATM, packed, and TDM services on a single IC, and are designed to allow network equipment manufacturers to more highly integrate their systems.

ValueClick Enhances Advertiser Tools
Westlake Village-based ValueClick (www.valueclick.com) has enhanced its search advertiser account management systems, according to the company. The company's Search123 unit has enhanced its self-service account management, adding a customizable dashboard, keyword grouping, the ability to separately track keywords and Cost Per Click, and sub-accounts for managing individual campaigns. Tensys Medical Raises $20M
San Diego-based Tensys Medical announced that it has closed a $20M round of equity funding from HBM BioVentures (Cayman) Ltd., International Bank of Taiwan, and Medical Strategy Gmbh. Tensys is developing real-time, non-invasive blood pressure management devices designed for anesthesiologists. Tensys is backed by Enterprise Partners, Crosspoint Ventures, Versant Ventures, Sofinnova, and others.
