eCOST.com Appoints CFO
Torrance-based eCOST.com announced that it has appointed Elizabeth S.C.S. Murray as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Murray joins the company from Digital Insight, where she was also EVP and CFO. She has also served at Korn/Ferry International and Hughes Communications (now DirecTV). eCOST.com is an online retailer of new, used, and closeout electronic products. The company is a subsidiary of PC Mall.

ID Analytics Promotes VP
San Diego-based ID Analytics announced that it has promoted Ken Morton to VP Global Sales. Morton was previously VP and GM for Europe. In addition, the firm said that Simon Williams has joined the company as general manager of Europe, Middle East, and Africa, reporting to Morton. Storix Gets Novell Certification
San Diego-based Storix announced this morning that its Storix System Backup Administrator package has been certified by Novell for its SUSE Linux product line. The certification ensures that the STorix software is compatible with Novell's SUSE Lilnux products. Vivendi Sells Hoyle Brand
Los Angeles-based Vivendi Universal Games said this week that it has divested its Hoyle branded software products to Navarre Corp's Encore subsidiary. Terms were not disclosed. Encore will support all sales, distribution, and marketing activities for the Hoyle family of products, which includes a number of card, puzzle, and board games. The deal covers the Hoyle games licesnse and worldwide perpetual license for certain family entertainment software content and technology.

Merisel Delisted, Auditors Resign
Long Beach-based Merisel announced this morning that the company has been delisted by the Nasdaq and that its auditors, Deloitte & Touche, have resigned. The company said that the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel has denied the company's appeal of the delisting move, and that the delisting was effective yesterday morning. FastClick Files For IPO
Santa Barbara-based web advertising company FastClick filed for an IPO yesterday worth up to $92M. The company, which until a $75.0M round last month was completely bootstrapped by the founders, offers a performance-based advertising campaign solution across a network of web sites. The company reports in its S-1 filing that it had revenues of $38.9M in the 9 months ending September 2004, and reported revenues of $28.6M for 2003.
