Internet Brands Takes On Zillow
Los Angeles-based Internet Brands said today that it has launched a new, online home valuation tool. The new tool, part of its RealEstateABC.com division, provides a Web 2.0-style, online home valuation tool. The tool comes on the heels of the launch of Zillow.com, a Seattle-based startup that has gotten lots of attention for its online home valuation site. StreamCast Sues Skype Under RICO
Woodland Hills-based StreamCast Networks has sued Skype for violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). StreamCast, makers of the Morpheus peer-to-peer file swapping software, reportedly filed a docket the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in January. Microsoft Updates FrontBridge Service
Microsoft has rolled out new branding for the hosted email services that was formerly Marina Del Rey-based FrontBridge's exchange hosted services. Microsoft said yesterday that it has changed the licensing model and branding for the hosted email service, changing it to Microsoft Exchange Hosted Services. The service has switched to a new, per-user licensing model, and the release of the service will now be aligned with MIcrosoft Exchange availability. GoToMyPC, Sage Software Target SMBs
Santa Barbara-based Citrix Systems and Sage Software said this week that they are in a marketing alliance targeting small and mid-sized businesses. The two firms said that Sage will offer Citrix GoToMyPC remote access services and web conferencing in conjunction with Sage's Enterprise Resource Planning and accounting software. HireRight Names CFO
Irvine-based HireRight has named a new CFO. HireRight said that it has named Jeffrey Wahba as chief financial officer. Wahba was most recently at the Henry Group of Companies, and has also served at Vault Corp. and Max Factor. HireRight is a provider of employment screening services, used by companies to manage their background screening process.

LegalZoom.com Hires VP
Los Angeles-based LegalZoom.com has hired a new VP, saying yesterday that it has hired Michael Wilson as VP of Customer Support. Wilson will oversee the company's service and support operations. LegalZoom.com is a provider of online legal self-help information and legal documents. Wilson has served at Walt Disney, Cooking.com, and Hot 'N Now.
