Snap Adds MySpace, RSS Widgets
Pasadena-based Snap.com, the online search engine company behind the popular Snap Preview web widgets, announced Tuesday afternoon that the firm has introduced two new widgets to the firm's "Snap Shots" program. The firm said that its new ProfileShot service adds preview of linked social networking profiles; and that its RSS Shot service shows instant preview of sites enabled with RSS feeds. SupplyFrame Inks $7M From USVP
Pasadena-based SupplyFrame, a firm which operates an online vertical search engine focused on electronic components, has raised $7M in a Series B funding. SupplyFrame said Tuesday that the funding round was led by U.S. Venture Partners, and also included prior investors Clearstone Venture Partners and Arcturus Capital. Local.com Adds Travel Content, Booking
Irvine-based local search engine Local.com announced Tuesday that it has added new online travel booking and travel content to its site. Local.com said that through a relationship with Expedia, the firm will provide flight, hotel, cruise, rental car, and other travel booking services, along with travel information. Agilysys Completes InfoGenesis Buy
Boca Raton, Florida-based Agilysys has completed its acquisition of Santa Barbara-based InfoGenesis, the firm said Monday afternoon, in a deal worth $90M in cash. InfoGenesis is a provider of software and products focused on the hospitality industry, including hotels, resorts, food service, and other areas. The acquisition was originally announced at the beginning of this month; InfoGensis was owned by Warburg Pincus.

MySpace, Sony Launch Portal
Los Angeles-based MySpace and Sony Pictures Television have launched a new portal focused on TV shows from Sony, the firms said today. MySpace said that it will create "minisodes", pared-down episodes from popular TV shows from the Sony library, in a short three to five minute length. The shows will be featured on MySpace Video, and will include shows like "Starsky & Hutch," "Charlie's Angels", "Facts of Life", and "Dilbert". Userplane Lands Hearst Digital
Santa Monica-based provider of instant messaging and online community tools Userplane, said today that Hearst Magazine is tapping the firm for an online site called eSPIN-the-Bottle. Hearst will use Userplane's communications software for providing instant messaging on its teen and young adult site. Financial terms of the win were not announced. eSPIN-the-Bottle is a part of Hearst Media's eCrush.com entertainment site.

mobileStorm Expands Marketing Tools
Los Angeles-based mobileStorm, a provider of email marketing tools and products, said today that it has expanded its Stun! mobile marketing service. The firm said that it has upgraded the software to support RSVPs for event marketers, emergency alerts, inbound campaigns, and collection of demographic data. mobileStorm's messaging services are used to send email and other messages to marketing lists or other mailing lists.

Iomega Partners With Postini
San Diego-based Iomega announced today that it has partnered with Postini, a provider of email filtering services, to target small and mid-sized businesses. Iomega said it will deliver Postini's security and compliance products to SMBs, through its reseller and distributor channel. Fulcrum, AMCC Roll Switch Reference Design
Calabasas-based Fulcrum Microsystems and Applied Micro Circuits Corporation said today that that they have introduced a new reference design for 10 Gigabit Ethernet Switches. Fulcrum is a designer of clockless semiconductors used for high speed Ethernet switch chips.
