Spot Runner Names President, CFOLos Angeles-based Spot Runner, which provides a web-based method of buying pre-produced television advertising, said yesterday that it has named a new President and hired a CFO. John Gentry has been named President of the firm, reporting to Nick Grouf; Samuel Paisley has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer. MySpace Mobile Hits SprintLos Angeles-based social networking web site MySpace and telecom carrier Sprint said today that the firms have launched a mobile version of MySpace on Sprint's web-enabled phones. According to the firms, the new MySpace Mobile web site will be a free service, and allow Sprint data subscribers to track their MySpace profiles on their phones. Greenlight Wireless Signs Orange MadagascarIrvine-based Greenlight Wireless, which provides services and software to convert web pages into mobile formats, said yesterday that it has signed on Orange Madagascar S.A. as a customer. Orange Madagascar is a provider of wireless services in the country of Madagascar. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Mefeedia Launches Video Search SiteBurbank-based Mefeedia said yesterday that the firm has launched a new video search site, targeted at searching across multiple video sites. Mahalo Launches Ratings and ReviewsLos Angeles-based Mahalo, the Sequoia-backed human powered search engine firm, said yesterday that it has launched a new feature which will allow users to rate and review their favorite movies, books, music and travel locations. CraveOnline Hires ExecsLos Angeles-based CraveOnline.com, an online web site targeting the men's market, said Thursday morning that it has appointed two new executives. CraveOnline said that it has appointed Derek Rudd as the firm's VP of Consumer Ad Sales, and Varvara Althouse as the firm's West Coast Account Executive.
