Faraday Future Plans Driverless Car Testing In Michigan, Says Report
Los Angeles-based Faraday Future, which is developing electric cars, is hoping to test driverless car technology in Michigan, according to the Detroit News. According to a source at the Michigan Department of Transportation, the startup has been asking about how to apply for license plates for self driving car testing in the state. Faraday Future has been very mum about its yet-to-be-developed electric vehicles.

Armorway Picks Up $2.5M For AI Platform
Los Angeles-based Armorway, which develops data analytics software which uses artificial intelligence (AI) for cybersecurity response, has raised $2.5M in a seed funding round. The funding came from Aristos Ventures, private angel investors and investment from serial entrepreneurs, founders and executives from several high tech companies, according to the company. Forentis Fund Launches $50M Personalized Medicine Venture Fund
Murrieta-based Forentis Partners, a new venture capital investment fund, said Monday that it has launched the Forentis Fund, a new, $50M special purpose venture fund specifically focused on bringing personalized medical solutions to market. The company said it will invest in companies in the pahrmaceutical and diagnostic industries. The new firm is led by Jay Goth, and is headquartered at the Murrieta Innovation Center in Murrieta, California.

Newegg, Indiegogo Team On Crowdfunding Effort
Los Angeles-based online electronics retailer Newegg and project crowdfunding site Indiegogo said this morning that the two are in a collaboration, where they will help successfully funded, crowdfunding campaigns to sell and deliver their products. Blizzard Entertainment Links Games Into Facebook
Irvine-based Blizzard Entertainment and Facebook said on Monday that the two are in a new collaboration, where Blizzard will link its games into Facebook, via Facebook Login. The deal will let users sign up for, and log into games using their Facebook account. The deal will also help drive more social activity and integration within Blizzard's games. YP Ties With TripAdvisor
Los Angeles-based YP says it has linked up its local search site with travel planning and booking site TripAdvisor, the latest integration and partnership deal for the online directory provider. According to the two, consumers searching YP will see additional user-generated reviews, ratings and information when they are searching for businesses. Yardi Wins Customer In Louisiana
Santa Barbara-based property management software developer Yardi reported a win in Louisiana this morning, with Weinstein Nelson Management. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Weinstein Nelson Management, which is based in Baton Rouge, is using Yardi's software for reporting, lead tracking, and renewals for its properties.
