San Diego-based Nirvanix, the provider of cloud storage services, said this morning that it has appointed Karen Sigman as its new Vice President, OEM and Alliances. Sigman joins the firm from QLogic, and has also served at Hitachi Data Systems, DataDomain, and IBM. Nirvanix said Sigman will be responsible for both partner relationships, as well as OEM and strategic alliances in the enterprise storage market.
