Paradigm Sports Backs Huupe

Los Angeles-based sports and entertainment agency Paradigm Sports said today that it has made an investment in Huupe, which makes a "smart" basketball hoop. Size of the investment was not announced. According to Paradigm Sports, it led the seed funding in Huupe, in an investment which also included F Street Ventures, Reform Ventures, JB Fitzgerald, Tundra Angels, and Ball Tek Ventures. Paradigm Sports said that Huupe's basketball hoop allows players to train, track their performance and compete against other basketball players anywhere in the world. Paradigm Sports Founder and CEO Audie Attar has joined Huupe's board as part of the investment.
