San Diego-based Qualcomm said today that it has acquired Summit Microelectronics, a developer of programmable power integrated circuits. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Qualcomm said the acquisition includes all employees of Summit Microelectronics, who become part of the company's CDMA Technologies division. Qualcomm explained that the acquisition will enhance its power management roadmap.
