San Diego-based Qualcomm announced today that it has named Steve Mollenkopf as EVP and Group President. According to Qualcomm, the promotion of Mollenkompf recognizes his expansion of executive oversight to cover Qualcomm CDMA Technologies, Qualcomm Internet Services, and Qualcomm MEMS Technologies. Mollenkopf has been at Qualcomm since 1994.
