    Quest Software Buys ScriptLogic

Aliso Viejo-based Quest Software said this morning that it has acquired Florida-based ScriptLogic, in a deal worth $90M. ScriptLogic is a provider of systems management software for Windows networks. The deal is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2007, and is subject to regulatory approval and Hart-Scott-Rodino. Quest said the deal would expand its presence in the small and medium sized business space, along with expand its capabilities to support the Windows market. ScriptLogic had revenues of approximately $20M last year. Quest said that ScriptLogic will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of the firm.
