If you've ever lost a cell phone, camera, or other electronic device, you know how hard it is to find it again--and how low the odds are of actually having a stranger find it and return it to you. A Hermosa Beach startup, RewardTag is looking to solve that problem, by letting users reward people who return those lost devices to the owner. The service allows owners of a device to offer up any reward amount -- and even adjust that reward -- to encourage returns on those devices, via a special ID number and sticker you place on your devices. The tags are available for purchase via the firm's website, and RewardTag also has a deal with Logitech to include those RewardTags on its line of Ultimate Ears ear buds. RewardTag, which is headed by Brian Nichols, recently revamped and relaunched its site.
