Riot Games Delays Releases After Security Breach

Santa Monica-based Riot Games says it has delayed its release schedule after a security breach last week. According to Riot Games, systems in its development environment were "compromised via a social engineering attack". The company said that--so far--there is "no indication that player data or personal information was obtained". However, Riot Games said the security breach has affected its ability to release content, and that the breach will impact its upcoming patches across multiple games. Riot Games is behind such titles as League of Legends and Valorant.
