Shield AI Shows Off AI Pilots On Military Drones

San Diego-based Shield AI, which is developing artificial intelligence piloting software, says it has demonstrated AI-piloted, autonomous unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) as part of a US Air Force AFWERX demonstration. According to the company, it demonstrated its AI software running on three vertical takeoff and landing drones (V-BAT), demonstrating the use of that software to monitor and surveil simulated wildfires. The company's AI pilot is named "Hivemind AI".
