Snapchat Expands AI Service To All Users

Venice, California-based Snapchat said this week that it is expanding access to its ChatGPT-powered "My AI" service to all of its users. The company had previously only given access to the service to subscribers of its premium service, Snapchat+. The service allows users to chat with an artificial intelligence personality, and also get recommendations about activities, restaurants, and more through the service. Snapchat is one of the many companies attempting to jump into the use of artificial intelligence chatbots, which use a technology called large learning models (LLMs) to respond to human queries almost identically as a human might.
