Snapchat, Ticketmaster Link On Concert Discovery

Venice, California-based Snapchat, and Los Angeles-based Ticketmaster said this morning that the two are in a new concert discovery partnership. According to the companies, the partnership will bring the latest concerts, games, and events from Ticketmaster directly into Snapchat for discovery and sharing. Financial details of the link were not announced. According to the two, Ticketmaster will add a new "Map Layer" as part of Snapchat's Snap Map, which will show artists playing at venues nearby and other events. The new feature will also link into Ticketmaster Mini, a new event discovery experience which will help people connect with Snapchat friends who want to be part of the same "experience" and will also allow those people to buy tickets.
