Spot Runner Inks Alliance With Ad Agency
Los Angeles-based Spot Runner, an Internet-based advertising agency that is developing a Google-like service to help local businesses advertise on TV, has inked a strategic relationship with JWT, a major, New York-based national advertising agency. The two companies said they will collaborate on national clients on local TV advertising solutions and emerging video, such as online video, video-on-demand, and IPTV. Spot Runner is funded by Battery Ventures, Index Ventures, and others.
