Hollywood-based Ticketmaster, a unit of IAC, said Thursday that it has acquired a Chinese ticketing and event promotions service in China. Ticketmaster said it acquired a majority stake in Emma Entertainment Holdings HK Limited. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The company is the third investment the firm has made in China in the past twelve months. Ticketmaster had previously made investments in Beijing Gehua Ticketmaster Ticketing Co., Ltd. and Broadway China Network.
