Carlsbad-based ToutVirtual, which develops software used to manage virtualized servers, said Monday that the firm has extended its tools and now supports Microsoft's Hyper-V virtualization software. According to ToutVirtual, its VirtualIQ products now support Microsoft Windows SErver 2008 Hyper-V, which is Microsoft's systems virtualization product. Previously, the firm supported the popular VMware virtualization environment. ToutVirtual's products are used to deploy and monitor virtual servers.
