TransDimension Announced High Power USB Transceiver
Irvine-based TransDimension announced that it has shipped a new, high-current Vbus, full-speed USB transceiver. The new transceiver is designed to enable mobile devices such as cellular phones, PDAs, MP3 players, and digital cameras to connect between each other without the requirement for a PC providing USB power. The company's chips and software are used in embedded applications to add USB connectivity to devices.
