True Zero Gets $26.6M Grant To Expand Hydrogen Fueling Stations

Irvine-based True Zero (FirstElement Fuel), a company which installs and operates hydrogen fueling stations, reported that it has received $26.6M in grants from the California Energy Commission, to expand its network of fueling stations. According to True Zero, the grant will go towards operation and maintenance support for 12 new hydrogen stations in California. Once complete, True Zero said it will have 31 total stations in operation. The company's primary target are owners of the hydrogen powered Toyota Mirai and Honda Clarity vehicles. True Zero is led by CEO Joel Ewanick.
