Vitesse Shuffles Board
Camarillo-based Vitesse Semiconductor, a developer of high speed semiconductors for the communications, storage, and other industries, announced Tuesday afternoon that it has elected Willow B. Shire as a new board member. Shire is a consultant at Orchard Consulting Group. The company also said that venture capitalist James A. Cole and Moshe Gavrielov have resigned from the firm's board. Vitesse said that it continues to look for directors to bring expertise to the firm's board. Shire has served as VP at Digital Equipment Corporation and currently sits on the board of TJX Companies.
