WebPurify Snags Former Twitter Trust, Safety Head

Irvine-based WebPurify, which uses a combination of AI and humans to vet user generated content for brands, says it has tapped former Twitter Head of Trust and Safety Operations Alexandra Popken as VP of Trust and Safety for the company. WebPurify said Popken brings more than nine years of leadership in protecting users, platforms, and brand reputations to the role. The company said Popken had been at Twitter since 2013.
