William Morris, Amp'd Founder Launch Digital Media Agency
The Wiliam Morris Agency and Peter Adderton, former founder of spectacular MVNO flameout Amp'd Mobile, said this morning that they have created a new company called Agency 3.0. According to WMA, the new firm will help clients design, implement, and monetize their digital media strategies. The new company will both act as a marketing agency and content developer, with a focus on the digital entertainment space. The new company will be based in Beverly Hills. According to WMA is a joint venture of WMA, Adderton and the other principals on the senior executive team. Adderton, who also founded Boost Mobile, was founder and CEO of Amp'd Mobile, which filed for bankruptcy in June of 2007 after raising more than $375M in venture capital.
