    BidShift Becomes Concerro
    San Diego-based BidShift said this morning that it has renamed the company, and has become Concerro, Incorporated. According to BidShift, Concerro is Latin for "to bridge or connect." In explaining the name change, the firm said that the name change embodies its philosophy as a company. Bidshift develops software-as-a-service for managing staffing and employee schedule at hospitals. The company is venture backed by Aperture Venture Partners, Carrot Capital, and Himalaya Capital.
